This week, Duff hit the Big Apple to celebrate the 25th Birthday of Cabbage Patch Kids. The CCC Crew created a huge Cabbage Patch Kid with her own birthday cake. CPK Founder Xavier Roberts was on hand to help celebrate:
I can't believe that Cabbage Patch Kids are 25! Man alive, does that make me feel my age. It was amazing to me when we received an original CPK in the mail to use for our model how immediate and emotional my reaction was...I felt like I was 7 all over again! The 'Kids haven't lost their touch.
In other news, this Saturday is Hampden Fest here in Baltimore. It's your annual chance to party in the middle of 36th street! Both Katherine's band, Lexie Mountain Boys, and Elena's band, The Squaaks, will be performing on the Atomic Books Stage. Come check them out!
After you've had your fill of beer and hot dogs in Hampden, then you best be heading down to DuBurns Arena for the Charm City Roller Girls' Season 3 Playoff Bout!
This season has been filled with non-stop action and I know Saturday's bout will be no exception! Come say hi to me at the merchandise table and cheer on your favorite team!
