This Saturday: Share Our Strength Bake Sale!
This Saturday, April 11th, Duff and the gang will be holding a bake sale right here in Baltimore's Inner Harbor! The event is part of the The Great American Bake Sale which benefits Share Our Strength - a non-profit organization dedicated to ending childhood hunger.
The decorators are all creating cakes that will be raffled off! You can win a cake! And there will be a decorating tent for kids, and the Ace of Cakes crew will be filming, and it's FREE, and Share Our Strength will give all the donations to effective nonprofit organizations in Maryland to help more kids in need get healthy snacks and suppers after school and during the summer.
That was a SERIOUS run-on sentence, but the point is this event is going to be SO AWESOME and the more people come, the more money we can raise for hungry children. So don't come for us...do it for the kids! Click here for all the deets.
Next Sunday: March for the Animals!
Next Sunday Duff and nearly all of us will be supporting the Maryland SPCA at their March for the Animals. It's almost time! Have you made a donation yet? We hope to see you at the March...and if you can't come (heck, even if you can!) please click here to take a look at our adorable pets and to make a generous donation to the Maryland SPCA. We are only a couple hundred dollars away from our fundraising goal - it would be SO RIGHTEOUS if we could meet our goal of $1000! Our puppies and kitties thank you.
Cutest Cake of the Week Award!
I just had to post a photo of what is quite possibly the cutest cake that has ever come out of this bakery. Mary Smith created this abundance of adorable for a baby shower a couple weeks ago. The cuteness level is approaching dangerous.
