Hope everyone's holidays were filled with excellence. We've had a lot of snow and a lot of fun here the last few weeks. We are currently filming the Ace of Cakes Season Eight FINALE, which is rather hard to believe. We wrap shooting next week with a very special, top secret field trip which I promise will be (hint) out of this world.
Meanwhile, while we are wrapping shooting of Season 8 next week, the season is premiering on Food Network next week. Did I just blow your mind?
Season 8 premieres Thursday January 14th at 10:00 PM. The first episode features the invasion of the DIY Network show Man Caves, power outages, a visit from a Medium (actually a visit from THE Medium), and a juice box. Super small sneak peak:

Speaking of Grape Juice - soihadto is putting an album out!
Duff's band is putting out a full length album, called "Adventure Stories (Not Based on Fact?)" and it hits stores February 2nd. However! People who pre-order directly from Grape Juice Records will receive a limited-edition screen printed poster from the band!
Cake of the Week!Last week Ben and Elena created a surprise groom's cake which I simply must share with you. If you aren't sure what this is, you must educate yourself by going to my favorite website, Homestar Runner dot com. You'll be glad you did.
This is a fairly flawless recreation of Strong Bad, but the fact that he is in his formal wear for the wedding is my favorite part.
Good jorb, Ben and Elena! Have a trophy! Full of Brunswick Stew.
Duff to Guest Star on Imagination MoversNext week, Duff will be appearing as a special guest star on Disney's Imagination Movers, which is a way-cooler-than-your-average-kids-show kids show. Duff (AKA Baker Ben!) will be stopping by and discussing muffins and jamming out. Look for Baker Ben to appear on Saturday, January 16th at 10PM on the Disney Channel.
On Saturday, January 16th, Duff will be appearing in Memphis at the Southern Home Garden & Gourmet Expo. Get your tickets now as this event will likely sell out!
In case you don't follow us on Twitter (if not, duh, you should) - Anna had a great interview in Richmond Magazine this month.
WHEW! I think that's it for the moment. Stay warm out there, my little birds!
xoxo,
Mary Alice
