Big things are afoot here at Remington Avenue. This afternoon we wished Duff, Geof, and our TV crew farewell as they launched a two week long road trip. That's right, the boys are going on tour! They will be stopping in many places all over the country. Right this second, they are en route to Nashville with a cake to celebrate the Grand Ole Opry's 85th Anniversary. After that, it's all open road as they venture to Texas, Illinois, Charlotte, and back. There will be cake making and hijinks along the way. Of course this means Duff rented a super suped out RV for the trip.
Sofia and I took the liberty of adorning the back a bit.
Here they are, both clearly very excited for the trip. To our Think Geek friends: Yes, that is a Tonton sleeping bag on the bunk in the background. It's Duff's.

In other traveling news, on Sunday the boys are swinging through NJ for the Great American Food & Music Fest at New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford. Duff and Geof will be joined by Katherine, Erica, and Anna for two live cake demos that are sure to rock your socks. If you can't make this weekend's show, the festival is also coming to Foxborough, Mass on Saturday June 26th. 
Finally, we'd like to say g'day to all the folks down in Australia who are now watching Ace of Cakes on the Lifestyle Food channel. We have gotten more emails from Australia than any other country...you guys are awesome! Thank you for the emails and sweet notes. Maybe our next trip can be all the way to Oz!
