Duff and the rest of our gang are thrilled to announce that we are finally opening our second location in California. That’s right, folks - announcing the grand spectacular super fantastic opening of CHARM CITY CAKES WEST!
We are so excited and over the moon to share this news with you. Duff has been dreaming of opening a west coast shop for years and years, and after a crazy ton of hard work and insane amounts of planning, it’s here! Pop the champagne and pass out the cigars!
Let’s clear a couple of things up right off the bat:
* Charm City Cakes West is not replacing our shop in Baltimore. CCC West is a second shop. We will never, EVER leave Baltimore, this is our home. After all, Duff named his business after Charm City so we’re kind of obligated to stay here. But seriously, Duff says the LA shop is to be considered a Baltimore Embassy in California. We are not creating a Cali version of CCC. We’re bringing Baltimore to California.
* As far as the original Remington Avenue shop goes, not much is changing and boy are we are busier than ever! Geof has taken the helm as captain of the CCC East ship as Duff splits his time between coasts. Several of our crew members have headed west with Duff to help open up the new shop. We are not dividing into two teams, the staffing for each shop will be fluid as our gang moves back and forth. If we need a specific team member for a cake in California, we’ll get them out there. Same goes for Baltimore.
* Charm City Cakes West can create and deliver spectacular cakes to events in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, and beyond. If it’s west of the Mississippi, CCC West is your shop.
* The bakery+design studio of Charm City Cakes West is located in Santa Monica, just a few blocks from the beach. Just like our flagship shop, CCC West is open by appointment only.
